but the dreamcast was a wonderful bit of machinery
that was years ahead of its time. the only reasons it didn't suceed was that people are stupid, and sony came onto the market with an inferior product, the playstation, in 1995 which they could afford to market. this led to the death of sega's superior 32-bit machine the saturn, leaving sega without the funds to market the dreamcast, which was, as i said, years ahead of its time. this was a terrible shame.

Better games on the PS
are what won the day over Saturn and N64. Technology is only a tool - it's what you do with it that counts...

Saturn
and Dreamcast never got the opportunity to shine coz of Playstations marketability.

I still play Daytona
on me ol' Saturn 'cos it's pretty much like the original.....also keep playing Need For Speed. All of the above cost me a tenner and a nice smile a couple of years ago :) Boxed too - WOW*R@RE! </ebay>
*edit* N4S was of course the 3DO edition played on me, er, 3DO machine. It's late. I blame everybody.
