bring a drool bucket
both for the visual effects, and the brain level needed.
well, no, saying it needs better dialogue/characterisation is like saying it needs more car chases. it's just not that kind of movie.
thoroughly recommend it. 20 minutes of plot setup, and an hour and a half of people getting stabbed. know what to expect, but go and you'll fucking love it.
i saw it at the imax, which i can heartily recommend.

You'll never knock out any famous plays with that pitiful amount of simians.

"300" looks fantastic, I cant wait
I havent been to the flicks for ages, I used to go pretty much every week but I got fed up of chavs/mobiles/other people ruining the film.

'tis the way forward...
...unfortunately, as I honestly believe actual talent should be supported, i.e. a good film/cd/dvd (whatever~) should be paid for.
Although saying that I havent donated to B3ta yet, so i'll get off my high horse now.

hahaha, this year is a potential wallet emptying for film releases.
I do make the point of getting a film, and if I like it, I do go to the cinema and fully indulge safe in the knowledge that I'm gonna love the film.
It loses nothing for me in seeing it a second, or indeed, third time or more.
if 'Jaws' was still on at the cinema, I'd still be going to see it now.
I see the torrents as an companion to cinemea, not a replacement, I love m'movies too much not to go to the cinema

I wish they would re-release old films on the big screen
a while back they showed "The Godfather" at my local Imax, i'm still kicking myself for not going...*kicks* ow.

Yeah, there are a few good films I'd love to see on the big screen
1 a week for 52 weeks of the year, a 'classic cinema through the ages' year

i dunno.
it has the advantage that you can get most films down the 5 mins or so of stuff that is actually worth seeing, and the bloody volume isn't ear shattering. i hate cinemas they're too bloody loud.
and you can't have a fag and a cup of tea while watching the film.

unless you have a 20 ft screen in your living room
this one is really one to go see at the cinema.
