/personally, I don't see that any regulars contribute to the trolls anyway. The new users are generally ok, and we have some cracking new users.
Considering you have to wait a week before you post - generally speaking - it gives you time to see how the board works and watch how it goes,
as well as a chance to have a glance at the guidance in the FAQ.
I reckon around 8/10 times, most new posters get more guidance and encouragement than slanging in their threads, although admittedly there will be the odd one or two who do go to town on the language.
If they get it wrong, there is usually someone there to help them get it right, and they can move on, the trolls will just post regardless rather than giving it up
