I hosted an image on teh shack once
took a full 30 seconds to go over it's bandwidth

I've never had it happen.
I only use it for my profile thumbs really. It's just a convenient online image store for me as I'm often on different PC's and locating an image on the network can be time consuming.

I use it too,
to post images, but it needs a link creator because the java image thing is neither use nor ornament when you need to repost something from a while back or if you want to edit something and you don't have the original.
