# Yay Chemistry
Is it an alkali earth metal?
Only science can tell me (or any 16 year old)

# It's very very reactive
With water. It's like sodium or lithium TIMES A THOUSAND. The video I saw ages back of someone
putting a tiny grain of caesium in to a
reasonably large glass vessel created a big
explosion, and actually shattered the vessel.

# I love that video.

# I saw that video
but as a 30 year old I reserve the right to forget everything I ever learnt and replace it with movie trivia and song lyrics.

# They don't teach kids anywhere near that amount of chemistry these days do they?
(It's just next to the alkaline earth metals)

# I have a laminated periodic table somewhere.
I may use it as a geeky table mat.
