Norton is like a virus in itself.. takes up shit loads of processing power, gets a stranglehold on several major applications, irritates you with messages every 5 seconds..

I was having prollems with my machine and my techhead mate came 'round to sort it out. After 20 mins of wrestling, windows, and accessing it via his machine remotely, he found that, since I'd let Norton expire and hadn't renewed it, it was trying to lock down my system. They're bastards.

do yourself a favour.. AVG will pick up more viruses, will take up much less processing power, won't irritate you with messages all the time, and is free.
Delete the Norton virus while you still can!
