Just like eurovision
We only need to see it once, that's enough
Just edit your original post to put it in a compo.

I doubt it's 'Mike Woz Fuck Cows'
I mean, that doesn't even make any sense, does it? At least put some effort in. Hamtoucher.

One is lucky
One has cut out caffeine and hasn't had a proper cuppa in a week

One was not ordered to do so by GPs
One felt it was justified, and took it upon oneself

Ugh...
I had to do the same on doctors orders. Had a 2 week headache and a general unwell feeling, apparently down to withdrawal symptoms.
I was not happy, but now, I'm all the better for it!

Read the FAQ a little bit
Don't post things twice rather than editing. People don't like that. You push other people's hard work down the board.

There's no need to post it again
Just edit your last post and change it to a compo entry

pfft, you /boarders are harsher than us on /talk !
I think someone should re-write the faq and make it a bit more user friendly.

He's a fucking joke.

How could the FAQ be more user friendly?!
The problems are the ones that don't bother to read it
( ,

Yeah, but at least you're AWARE of the FAQ
Some people don't even seem to know of its existence!

People should just be nicer
It's not like it used to be

We are nice.
We eat icecream and everything.
But, to be fair, most of his stuff recently has been other people's work with a head 'seamlessly' shopped onto it.

I haven't seen it
But if you don't like it, just ignore it and don't reply.

what do you mean 'if' we have seen it before?
chances are fella...
Best edit the original post, there's a good chap, and I know
several people are shouting about reading the FAQ, but it
really is a rollicking good read, and you'll pick up several useful things from it.
Makes for a richer experience all around and saves the flaming in the long run :)

it can happen any time of the day fella,
but please do have a good go at the FAQ anyway, it'll help you in the long run
as it does everyone, and will help avoid the posting of bait for the real nazis
(I myself used to be one a good while back, and it is easy enough to get
wound up at times)
Basically, you reposted in a new thread just to compo the entry, thus pushing someone's new work off the board,
that's why some people decided to get arsey
just remember the basics and you'll be fine, 50k for still images
250k for animations, don't repost in new threads and if you make a mistake
use the edit button to correct, all options will still be open for change
good luck to ya!
/and if in doubt, ask a straightforward question in an existing thread as a reply to someone's post,
you'll find people generally react better and are more helpful that way

This guy isn't a n00b
And has been pushing it from day one. A lot of n00bs of late have actually not been too bad, and have therefore had praise or constructive criticism where necessary

fair enough,
it seems like people just spend all their time flaming people and creating 'read the faq' and 'optimize!!!' anims rather than being nice to the law-abiding b3tans.

Speaking as a noob,
and someone who has got confused by 'how to peroast something for a compo' despite having read the FAQ *deep breath*, I have found the welcome here to be generally most warm, the tolerance of fuckwittery most forbearing, and the patience with long run-on sentences to be... er... where was I?
