yesterday she went to work and I stayed at home and had to tidy up - only she'd left the contents of one of her makeup bags on the sofa

That is powder eyeshadow, with sponge tips for application and brushes for blending.

Winehouse wears liquid eyeliner, which is applied with a fine brush.
