Indeed.
Goldfish are coldwater fish and members of the carp family and shouldn't really be kept in aquaria, where as Platties are livebearers from the same genus family as Guppies and are tropical fish that thrive and breed easily in a home aquarium.

as my dentist insisted i had sensitive teeth. i told him if he didn't do something, he'd have no teeth. i know an abcess when ifeel one!
