[challenge entry] starn trek.

for those who say 'ris?', mike and doug starn are twins who work in and around photography and printmaking. i made this in photoshop but thought about handmaking it - emulating their techniques is quite a lot of fun.

a photographer friend introduced me to them when i was in uni. a while after i graduated they did the cover and liner notes for an elektra records compilation, rubaiyat, which i bought primarily for the cover. i do like their work.
