Aplogies for a TJ.,.. some help needed
I'm having a spot of bother with pantones. I don't normally work with them (i usually work in CMYK).
If I'm using a Pantone colour, and I then use a transparency on it, does that craete a NEW pantone, or, as far as printers are concerned, is it the same pantone...?
Cheers

Just a flat transparency, like a certain percentage tint
Now, can anyone tell me how I find out the Pantone colour from the CMYK vales?
I thought Illustrator did this, but the number it chugged out doesn't correspond to anything I can find...
