# That's not cola. But it is the fizziest substance known to man, for 20 seconds after the can's been opened.

# ^^ THIS
Dr Pepper and Irn Bru fuelled my degree and my first baby-steps into the world of research. I don't dare drink Irn Bru anymore. I think it strips the lining off my stomach. Plus it turns your tongue orange and does naughty things to your teeth.

# it's meant to taste nice with whisky
which i wouldn't drink if you paid me

# Irn Bru and vodka works well
I never tried it with whisky. You'd have to use some cheap rubbish like Teachers or Bells or Grouse. I'd have to kill myself if I tried it with something decent.

# aww no
i love whisky. i'm not drinking it at the minute because of the strength of the alcohol, but i love it regardless. right now i get high on the fumes.

# Does ginger strip stomach lining? I could imagine it not doing much good to an existing ucler.

# It's more just the acid
fizzy drinks have acid. Plus, fizz feels horrible on my stomach at the minute :(

# Well, not right now
but my Granddad had ulcers too and he ate curries and drank whisky till he died - which wasn't of his ulcer. So things will settle. THEN I SHALL GO REFRESHER MAD.
