This is a normal post It's not that simple though is it.
What if you live somewhere which has really bad connectivity. Or what if a cable is accidentally cut and you have no internet for a while? It just renders the computer useless.

Not to mention your router packing up and having to wait for a new one.

This is a normal post Also when you switch ISPs
And you're without internet for weeks. Or 4 months, like I was when swopping from BT to Virgin.

This is a normal post When we moved house we spent about 3 months stripping and decorating it before we got everything hooked up and connected again.
The only thing that preserved sanity was being able to access games and DVD box sets in a completely offline environment. Having to set up your broadband and wireless in an environment where you're stripping wallpaper, plastering, sanding, painting, etc, just so you can access your own stuff for which you have paid, seems a bit crap to me.
