Watford is rather hard to forget
It doesn't need charity collectors so much as a disaster fund.

Have you been to the New Watford Market yet?
Someone* likened it to Camden. It's absolutely nothing like Camden.
*Possibly Dorothy Thornhill

Is that the one
made out of shipping containers? (The market, not Thornhill, although she might be)

Set aside at least 4 minutes to see everything there
Truly sad that a charter town like Watford has a poxy sized little market made out of steel containers. A quick walk through neighbouring towns like St Albans and Hemel and the markets are outdoors and thriving. Thornhill will be the death of that town...

The woman is a menance
I note she is going to stand as an MP but keep the mayor job in case she fails, and only give it up if she wins. Power crazy, that one.

those collectors would probably be arrested for chugging and doing a bucket collection at the same time.
Anyone who's spent far too much time studying the Police, Factories etc (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1916 would know that one is a charitable activity and the other commercial.
I'll shut up now.
