I was using the widest angle lens I could afford. Still couldn't even get half of it in.
To give you an idea of the scale, make the Eiffel Tower about 50% taller, then knock it over.
When the wind blows past the antenna, it makes a sound a bit like an aeroplane passing by in the distance.

re my comment about the plane noises: standing in Pripyat I realised that something was missing - sound. You're right in the middle of a town, and you hear no talking, no footsteps, no cars, no planes overhead.
Just the wind and the occasional sounds of your fellow tourists.
