This is a normal post ooo0ooo what kinda chevy is it???
Agreed, there is something fun about the sheer hugeness of the old yank tanks. It's not what I was looking for but too good to miss when it was on the doorstep.

It got a bit better after a couple of runs. I'm amazed how good things have been considering how long it stood.
Have been trying to lube it up over a couple weeks and turning it over by hand.

This is a normal post Pickup.
Big window model. I stuck a 69 Camero 327 in it, because it was free, and the old straight six was dead. It just sits, taking up garage space now. But I really do love that old thing. It's amazing what you can mix and match on those American vehicles. The old '55 four speed tranny bolted on to the newer Camero engine.

This is a normal post nice :)
The v8's although slightly more complex than the straight sixes I've always found to be more fun and easier to get bits for. A lot of vehicles shared parts back then. Plus things were really built to last. A lot of the stuff on this car is 50 years old but works fine. Stuck a battery on and all headlights, brakelights, indicators etc work. bonkers.
