What's more, do you eat meat? Wear leather? 'Cos if so there's a whiff of hypocrisy here. By understanding the nature of our pets we can better understand, and cater to, their needs. We're not going to help any creature by sticking the proverbial hat on it and cooing "aww, it think's it's people".
