Go easy on the profession, there's some of us out here trying to do it properly.
I did the forum/community "push" for the campaign "Diesel SFW Porn". That included buying everyone on Something Awful who contributed to the meme a $10 forum upgrade and paying SA themselves for their time in reviewing our campaign. They loved it and posted about it.
That's how to do it. Honesty, rewarding creativity and having a conversation.
NOT pretending to be a punter and submitting your stuff all over the place. Jesus fuck.
