This is a normal post It's terrible isn't it - they're not even convcted, just nicked for questioning.
They may never be charged.

Sheriff Joe is being investigated for abuse of power and misuse of funds.

I knew the US prison system was a disgrace but not how far things have sunk. And while the private sector makes a profit on it, there is no hope for reform.
