Even so, some phone companies charge for those. I think Virgin might be one of them.
Good call on the copyright thing. There doesn't seem to be a qualifier at the bottom, which is to say they're apparently claiming copyright of the JC+ logo as you say.
What galls me most is their giving a premium rate number for crisis loans when the real number is an 0800 (free on most mobiles nowadays*). It's an 0800 number for a reason.
*Part of the drive I mentioned at the start is also about getting 0800 numbers to be truly free even on mobiles.
