But then why would anyone want, or need, to buy ads in the newsletter if they can just post their shit here, repeatedly, for free?

I'm not doing this for me, I have no connection with b3ta other than being a user for ~8 years or so and I get pissed off when I see wankers trying to exploit it.

The accusation isn't that this video is spam, it's that their other links are (to funniestcorner.com, cool-story.com, gloriousmind.com, todayswhisper.com, theworldgeography.com, formyhour.com and chillhour.com)

These are all blogs which are part of the same network which have been spammed by many previous "users" who were subsequently banned/deleted.

But they've persisted.

Now they pick videos and images off the front page of reddit (i.e. stuff that's already gone viral) and post it here in an effort to dilute their spamminess... and judging by your reaction, with some success.

It's a pity because they couldn't give a shit about b3ta the community, all they care about is their websites google rank. At some point in the near future they (deluxe and cancerik) will both post links to their spam-blogs again.

If you read all of my post above, and followed the links, you'd see that both of them (deluxe and cancerik) have quite an online presence of visiting various link dumps (including reddit and stumbledupon) and spamming links to the above mentioned blogs.

I'm sorry you see that as being "sad", I'm just sticking up for the community I've been a part of for the past 8 years. I wish more people would.
