Another day another "reboot"
This time Point Break gets the wholly unnecessary treatment.

With lines like "the people behind these robberies are extreme athletes, using their skills to disrupt the international financial market" I can't see how this can be anything but spectacular.

What twat thought making everything look green was a good idea?
Apart from this looking like utter shit, why the gren? Even during daytime, outside, it looks all green. The sun isn't green you muppets.
Here's a colour comparison from the old and new version.
Seriously, is someone out there saying 'more green, more green'.

It had the feel of a vimeo film
stretched out over two hours. Someone wrote this of it:
"It doesn't look bad, it doesn't look good, it just looks completely unnecessary."

I agree with the third bit.
I think it looks awful, yeah, like a vimeo video.

The Matrix was the first time I noticed that monochrome style.
Probably been used before. I don't really have a problem with it as long as the film isn't a tank of piss, which this will be.

You can understand it being used in The Matrix
Sort of makes sense.
But this? They have some great locations and messed up the colour for no good reason. It makes me feel like I should wash my eyes, horrible it is.

It was quite cleverly used in the Matrix
Differentiated between the slightly over-saturated feel within the Matrix and the washed-out pallor of reality.
'course all that went to sh*t in the sequels but there was a good idea in there at one point.

There was a link posted here ages ago that tried to explain the teal and orange overload that you see in most action films these days.
Still looks like a total shit turd like all of these remakes.
