This is a link post Concrete arrows for directing planes. Simple innit?
This is one of my favourite blogs (first picked it up here, I'm fairly sure) and this post is a prime example of their interesting finds around the world.
I hope to visit the one in Shelbyville (Indiana) when I'm over there later in the year.

This is a normal post Henry Williamson, author of Tarka the Otter
was a Nazi sympathiser, and joined Mosley's British Union of Fascists. It was rumoured that he used to stomp around in cornfields making huge arrows pointing towards RAF Chivenor in North Devon hoping to aid German bombers looking for the airfield.
