This is a link post My review of the Microsoft Band 2 I made this!
I wasn't going to share my blog on here, but fuck it, someone might like it... maybe? Anyway, I reviewed the Microsoft Band 2 fitness device, might be useful if you were thinking of getting one.

This is a normal post I take it this uses reflectance technology for the heart rate
I use a MIO band which is highly accurate and the Bluetooth output neatly engages with Mapmyrun or the, admittedly quite crap, MIO app.

works with endomondo and runkeeper... anything with bluetooth lte support, which is most apps, but not all hardware.
