whilst I agree in most cases, especially on the internet, using Nazis and Hitler to make a point is usually hyperbole to try to kill dead a debate, but that's not always the case and sometime a debate will have to use such refrences to act as a common measure to the validity of other points raised.

It's bad enough trying to debate with holocaust deniers without having the entire debate reduced to not mentioning Hitler or the Nazis at all for fear of being accused of hyerbole.
