1000cc gokart with a with flat shifter and Blipper gearing would limited by the size of the wheels but i expect that you could get a damnd great grin on your face with out to much effort

Interesting.
A bike engine in a go kart does make them go like the clappers, but part of me does think it is sacrilegious. I have seen a Fireblade engined quad that was just insane and a Busa engine in a Smart that looked fun. Most recently, I saw a Caterham thing that had a ZX9R engine, but again it just felt wrong. Four wheels bad, two wheels good (says the boring lass who rides a Jap V-Twin)!

Nowt wrong with jap v twins
Mines a suzuki DL650 V-Strom and it's lovely! Plenty fast enough, but also comfortable, unlike its SV650 sister (for me anyway, being tall and lanky)!
