This is a question Broken Promises

Thebigfella tugs our coat and says: Are you a LibDem minister, a cheating partner, or maybe you have an annoying friend you can't be bothered with? Tell us of promises you've broken, or if you've been on the receiving end.

Either that or you enjoy being 'outside'.

Buy Dragon Age Origins instead
and save some money and sanity.

I finished Origins a while ago.
Wasn't that impressed, to be honest. Not a patch on KOTOR/Mass Effect. Certainly not my favourite game on the citadel.

Fair dues
I was a massive WOW fan and finally quit after I nearly lost my partner....I joined a high end raiding guild that wanted to consume my life. Dragon age has loads of the fighting dynamics of WoW, tanks, melee dps, magicians etc....But I don't have to rely on tossers, who invariably leave groups. Thanks for the heads up on Mass effect, It has been on my list of wants fo some time.

The problem with Cataclysm is
That in order to get to the new Cataclysm zones you have to first by the two other expansions first. And bloody hell it takes long enough to get to the point where you need those expansions in the first place. I think i'll be ready for cataclysm in about 2 years at my current rate of levelling up.. Thats probably because I also go 'outside'.
