I knew him before he was at that hospital. Lovely man, great doctor.
Just happened to work with the same bunch of arseholes I avoided by not doing my internship there, and staying away since.

Hard nosed arseholes
Seems to be a prerequisite of being a Surgical Consultant (esp Ortho and Neuro) that you treat all around like worthless scum and bully the piss out of them. Dis you hear the case in Llanelli in S Wales where a surgeon took out the healthy kidney, killing the patient? He was warned by his House officer that he was about to take out the wong organ and was told to shut the fuck up, who do you think you are etc. Anyhow, that surgeon is in Prison, the prick. Bullying isnt just dangeous to staff in hospitals.
