Questioning your answers
A post below has reminded me of an irritating wanker I had the misfortune of being at uni with who would ask a question and then seem to question your response.

Many a conversation followed this format...

"Have you seen Matt?"
"Yeah, he went to the pub"
"Oh, he's gone to the pub has he?"

"Are you in uni tomorrow?"
"No, I've got the day off"
"Oh, you've got the day off have you?"

"What are you doing?"
"Punching you in the face"
"Oh, you're punching me in the face are you?"

etc...

It got to the stage were we'd contradict ourselves in an attempt to try and confuse him, so we'd end up with...

"Have you seen Matt?"
"Yeah, he went to the pub"
"Oh, he's gone to the pub has he?"
"No, he's in his room"
"..."

That is excellent
It would be interesting to see how long he'd go on for without realising.

"oh, he's in his room then?"
"No, he's at the shop"
"So, he's gone to shops then?"
"No, he's actually you in disguise. If you point it out to him, you will disappear from existence"

I have to admit
to doing this myself sometimes. I'm not very good at conversations, and it's a simple way of getting the other person to keep talking. Sad, I know.

So...
You don't like people questioning your responses don't you?

To my eternal shame.
I have a habit of doing that..
