This is a question Complaining

I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

Property Agents
The 'factor agent' or property company that employ cleaners and stuff for the common areas of the block where my flat is have been a cause for a number of complaints over recent years....

Lets call them Hacking & Paterson (for that is their name) have even been told by Trading Standards (after i complained) to sort themselves out but so far no joy.

The crux of things is damp in a stairwell. They sent their usual crew out to fix it (competitive quotes but only ever from two companies so as about as competitive as a grouse v gun battle) which actually invalidated the NHBC insurance.

I managed to get most of this cost refunded because of that error and they pledged to Trading Standards that there would be no further costs - before charging for paintign the wall again...

I reck9on a repair is a repair and no further costs should mean that. they say they painted the entire stairwell so i have to pay. TS agree with me but have turned out to be toothless and can't force anything.

So... do i bugger up my credit, tough it out, go to court and hope the 'no further costs' letter swings it or pay it all off then go to small claims using the letter as evidence or is there a secret option 3....?
