I saw a documentary onceRegarding Nazi technology that was caputred by the Allies (or more accurately, the US) at the end of the war. Amongst other things, the Nazi's were working on 'flying disc-like' aircraft technology (this is all officially documented by the way). Coincidental then that the first reports of mysterious flying saucers and such started in the US shortly after the war ended.

a flying machine developed by the Nazi's towards the end of the war. Then a few years later something remarkably similar is witnessed flying over the US, and then crash lands.
