This is a question Conversation Killers

ThatNiceMan asks: Have you ever been talking with people down the pub when somebody throws such a complete curveball (Sample WTF moment: "I wonder what it's like to get bummed") that all talk is stopped dead? Tell us!

Everyone has two nans
I don't believe that either of yours died of AD.

If they did, I think you need to take a long hard look at yourself and ask:

1. Is AD funny?
2. Was what I said to that fundraiser appropriate?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 10:00, 1 reply)
I repeat
I did not say that to a fundraiser.

I made a joke on a messageboard which was intended to point out that a lot of people this week seem to be claiming to have said things to fundraisers that I did not believe they say.

read the last line of the very first post again. Then also read the other Nan post to see if you can get the joke from that one too.

Then, when you are fully in control of the facts, perhaps we'll talk again.

Yes, I understand that you didn't say this to a fundraiser.
I had an inkling this conversation was going to go this way.

You see that you've made a joke about AD right?

I'm sure you're making a bigger deal out of this than necessary
I'm pretty sure the fundraiser didn't give a fuck

Wow, you started the imbecillic backpedalling even before I called it.
That's efficiency there
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 10:04, closed)
For there to be backpedalling
I think I would have needed to, you know, go back on anything I've already said.

just saying.
