This is a question The Credit Crunch

Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?

How has the credit crunch affected you?

Change banks
I do have 2 dormant accounts. One with Yorkshire Bank and one with LloydsTSB.

However, I am well into a £1500 overdraft with the Halifax. I suppose I can just switch everything over to the other banks, and they can whistle for their money

The bigger your debt to them
The greater your earning potential and thus the greater reluctance on their part to let you go.

An account with a modest amount in it that never really changes is, to them, the crappest account on their books...

Your overdraft is the key to your bargaining power.
