Whoah...
This is in Liverpool isn't it ?
My mate at Uni used to work there - we used to go and see her late in the evening because the (then) landlady was an alcoholic and would give everyone free drinks when she was hammered (on the dot at 10.30pm).
Hadn't thought about the place for 20 years now...

EDIT: Also the path across the little park next to the Oxford was created by my mate Albert. He took a handy short-cut across there once on his way from halls to campus. It was so handy everyone else started going that way. A small muddy path formed - and when we came back from summer holidays the council had put concrete down and Albert's path was literally set in stone...
