Last night I got into an argument with a toilet attendant
It's not something that I'd normally do as I don't really care about being passed a paper towel while washing my hands or even mind paying someone a pound for doing this rather demeaning chore. What I do mind though is being sprayed with Airwick while I use the facilities as they're intended rather than shovelling Columbian marching powder up my nose.

I'm under no illusion that my shit smells anything other than shit, and I understand that he may have wanted the improve the general odour of his work environment by spraying air freshener… but I wasn’t expecting or OK with him showering me in toxic pine mist over the top of the cubicle.

Thankfully he stopped on the second dosing after I idly threatened to break his head. Venting my grievance further once I had finished up, bizarrely he rapidly moved the conversation onto the suggestion that he earned more money than me(?!) – apparently this was not his sole career. Perhaps he does, but as I pointed out, to my knowledge most wealthy people don’t tend to pick second jobs monitoring toilets, well unless they’re of Wham! Fame perhaps. He didn’t have an answer for that, so I helped myself to a spray from one of his array of aftershaves took a Chupa Chups and left.
