Pedant, but ...I assume you were giving your daughter away. Which would be a blessing I would think.
The father of the Bride says "I do" when asked "Who gives this woman" ... the Bride & Groom says "I will" when asked "do you take this man/woman". Which is what *I* did. And regretted.
But all done and dusted with a nice Decree Absolute now. (YAY! W00t, etc)
