This is a question Narrow Escapes

IHateSprouts tells us they once avoided getting caught up in an IRA bomb attack by missing a train. Tell us how you've dodged the Grim Reaper, or simply avoided a bit of trouble.

Addendum
I would like to thank the honourable gentleman for his erudite and entirely accurate contribution to this quite vexatious topic.

The main thrust of his paper is quite correct in its assertion that anatomical limitations prevent the rotation of the aforementioned pistol 180 degrees to the right. I would however like to draw his attention to a rotational methodology which appears not to have made an impression on his research.

Consider:
A predominantly vertical rotation of approximately 176 degrees* using the elbow as the primary rotational joint and the wrist as a secondary would allow the pistol to be aimed directly at the roof of the mouth and even leave the index finger on the trigger.

indeed
agreed and entirely possible, however, for 'Augsav' the original intention was to draw an entirely false premise of 'accidently shooting oneself in the face' thus the shooting through the roof of the mouth is inaccurate.
But following the excellent rotational schematic you propose it is well within the bounds of possibility to move the head to look directly down and to the right (or left dependant on being left ot right handed) and achieve the correct angle to fire toward his face.
