This is a question Famous people I hate

Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

Hint: A list of names, possibly including the words 'Katie Price' and 'Nuff said' does not an interesting answer make

Anyone from 'Liberty'
...and i don't mean some second rate 5-piece 'pop group' (read: losers), i mean the self righteous, do-no-gooders who think they have the right to tell me how to live my life

www.liberty-human-rights.org.uk/

I don't just hate the spokes-persons which includes Shami Chakrabarti, but anyone who's a member of said group.

I believe they represent about 7000 people in this country, but seem to get a disproportionate amount of air-time (especially by the BBC) giving their two-penneth.

Fuck off, the lot of you.

By "telling me how to live my life"
I assume you mean "trying to stop other people telling me how to live my life" or "telling me not to tell others how to live theirs".

Possibly.

Well said, Enzyme.

Human rights eh, what a load of shite.
I don't want anyone campaigning for my human rights or the rights of others to not be discriminated against simply because they're a bit brown, a bit foreign, or a bit too gay. The government knows best after all, when have they ever got anything wrong?

My great aunt co-founded Liberty.
Or the National Council for Civil Liberties, as it was known at the time. As part of the NCCL, she helped gather together some of the great and good (including E. M. Forster and H. G. Wells) to fight against Fascism in Britain.

In the 30s, Fascism was a problem across Europe, not just in Germany and Italy. You may have heard of Oswald Mosley and his blackshirts.

One of the reasons the UK didn't go the way of Germany was the NCCL (and my great aunt). The world might have been a very different place without her.

On top of that, your reason for disliking Liberty is nonsense: they do not tell you how to live your life.

But on the other hand Shami is quite cute [in a probably quite dirty and hairy way], and always reminds me of my favourite starter.

What a dilemma.

I don't get it.
Of all the organisations to hate, Liberty seems one of the most bizarre. I just don't understand how you can be "anti civil liberties".

Then again, I seem fundamentally unable to grasp the idea of being pro-torture, so I may be missing something.

But really, how have they ever told you how to live your life? I mean, I suppose if you were a member of the Met and were upset at having your hippy-bashing antics curtailed, but apart from that?

I guess it's your spleen, you can vent it on who you want. Just seems a really odd target.

I'll oppress who I like, when I like!
