Pet Cemetery
I went to see Pet Cemetery. I'm not a fan of Stephen King (I liked the The Long Walk though) but I was bored so figured I'd give it a spin one weekday afternoon. There was hardly anyone else there, but funnily enough there was one lady who had smuggled in her little lap-dog in her handbag. Heh. Didn't bother me, and the irony of bringing a dog to Pet Cemetery made me snigger. Interestingly, this little pooch seemed transfixed by the movie and stared at the screen intently the whole way though, even cowering at the scary bits, and looking inquisitive during the suspenseful stuff. Too weird. Anyway, when the movie was over I joked to the lady 'Your dog seemed to have enjoyed that'. 'Yes,' she replied 'Most odd considering he hated the book'.
