This is a question Things we do to fit in

"When I was fifteen," writes No3L, "I curled up in a Budgens trolley while someone pushed it through the supermarket doors to nick vodka and Benny Hedgehogs, just to hang out with my brother and his mates."

What have you done to fit in?

Good lord, did you hang about on Stockport Market?
I managed all those apart from the stealing and bullying...though I didn't consciously do them to fit in as much as it appealed to me at the time :)

I never went to Coco's
But my reigning memory of going out in Stockport as a teenager was when I was trying to get into Stockport College's SU bar for the friday night "indie" night (circa 1994) with a "modified" student ID.

The bouncer looked at me and said "How old are you?" I replied "Er... s... seventeen".

To which he laughed in my stupid fucking face and threw my card into some bushes.

(But I went back next week and got in)

ha
that's hilarious!!! to be fair, you got confused with the lying to be under 16 on the train, and lying to be over 18 in the pubs...

we got booted out of the grand central cinema when my friend jo asked for "two halves" to go and see "hellraiser iii". twat.
