This is a question Things we do to fit in

"When I was fifteen," writes No3L, "I curled up in a Budgens trolley while someone pushed it through the supermarket doors to nick vodka and Benny Hedgehogs, just to hang out with my brother and his mates."

What have you done to fit in?

Ditto. Which is why I'm never really sure if people are taking the proverbial, when they talk about 'self-diagnosis'.

After all, having concerns about your own health is how most medical problems begin treatment, isn't it?

Most people are, for instance, fairly good about 'self-diagnosing' a major MI. This invariably leads to them getting immediate assitance.

But when it comes to service provision for Adults with ASD, it can be Poor At Best.

And how does that old proverb go? "The first step to dealing with a problem, is admitting you have one".

edit: I should add, that whatever the intent; I'm not offended. Just uncertain.
