iPod and carsWhen I am driving I have the iPod on shuffle but of course now recognise any of the 5000 or so songs by the first few seconds and feel compelled to press next until I get just the right song for my mood or for the road i am driving. It can take time with this many songs and my fairly eclectic taste and so all my passengers get is a selection of four second clips of songs...I don't think that they like it much. I also monitor for 'Explicit Content' songs when the kids are in the car but that isn't a bizarre habit so hey!

Ha! This.I think I spend more time skipping then I do actually listening. That and skipping to the next track when theres only about six seconds left of the track I'm listening too.
