This is a question Hoarding

Willenium says: I had to bring some floppy disks into work which I had been saving for 10 years "in case I might need them". Tell us when your hoarding skills have come in useful (or not, as the case may be)

Hah.
Ever tried playing with Lego with a 2 year old hanging around?

Have to admit though, I do frequently dream up new things I'd like to build. One day . . .

I had an uncle
who stormed out of the room in a strop because he'd spent 45 minutes building a house, and then my cousin smashed it because he'd taken the nicest door.

Serves him right for being greedy. You can either have the bricks that aren't full of play-do, or the working doors... but not both!

I think I got over that kind of problem
in around 1989 - there's almost nothing I don't have at least 5 of :)

Ah, that's good thinking!
I find too much entertainment value in watching my uncle sulk to do that, though. :P

I'm with you there.
In fact having now seen the benefits, I may fill a few usefull components with play-do, and hide the clean ones.
