my last employer (a multinational FMCG manufacturer) used SAP for production and blow moulding schedules, warehousing, accounts, sales, QC/QA, product development, and pretty much everything of any importanceit was great - it did the job right every time and it never once fell over during the four years I was there
the only gripe was that the interface and functionality could be confusing to new users, but that was more down to individual programmers rather than the system itself
