This is a question Morning After Souvenirs

I once woke up in a tent after a particularly drunken holiday pub crawl, clutching a tap. There's a drowned, sunken village somewhere in Wales because of my act of petty theft, but I cannot remember. Tell us what - or who - you've brought back from nights out.

Before you get to work with cadavers
You get a long lecture about what an honour it is to do so. It's explained that these are not just bits of meat, these are the physical remains of people's lives. These people have been mothers, fathers, grandparents, best friends and have surviving relatives. You're encouraged to treat the cadavers with the respect they deserve.

Later this year
I shall be going to the memorial service at the university where my late grandmother is currently fulfilling a series of diminishing roles in the anatomy department. It's a three line whip for the medics, I understand, in part because it is felt that meeting the relative of bits they are cutting up helps reduce any temptation to lark about with them.
