This is a question My Arch-nemesis

I lived in fear of a Darth Vader-esque school dinner lady who stood me perpetually at the naughty table for refusing to eat mushy peas. An ordeal made worse after I was caught spooning the accursed veg into her wellies. Who, we ask, has wrecked your life?

Thanks to Philly G for the suggestion

My ex-wife
For being a bitter, twisted, spiteful, vindictive cunt of a woman who's dragged on this divorce for 2 sodding years....not that I'm bitter or wish cunt cancer on her, oh no sir!!

There, feel much better after that rant! :o)

I'm going to have to try my best
not to echo your rant, as 5 and a half years on I still seem to mention my own little ex-cherub every single week on the QOTW, despite not being obsessed by vengeance.

Ahem.

Two years?
Fuck me!
I thought 19months was bad enough!
Have a man-hug...

Cheers dude
What makes me laugh is the way she keeps on saying that she wants this over and done with when, at the very start, she vowed to drag this out and make it as costly as possible for me. Gotta love her, eh?!?

I think she may be related to my own soon to be ex husband, who has done the same. He left me potless eight years ago but still won't let me finalise the divorce. Luckily for me I am an legal aid and unfortunately for him, he isn't. There is little joy in the situation, but I often hang onto the fact that the more he delays in being obstructive and spiteful (for example, 18 months into the third time I have tried to divorce him, he still hasn't even given bank statements, despite being constantly asked and having had mine, and would like to force a sale of my home, where he has never lived, despite recently being employed as a police constable with a good wage and having collected his equity from the previous house we had together when it was sold four years ago, whereas I am on disability benefits and utterly broke), the more it is costing him in fees.
Just rise above it mate - just do what you're asked, and don't retaliate, and that's all you can do.

8 YEARS?!?!?
Holy moly, I thought 2 years was bad but 8?!? Oh dear lord, I really feel for you!!! :o(

Every time I've had an e-mail from her asking about status updates on my part, I've remained civil, regardless of what she's put in her e-mail. However, I fear that one day the temptation will become too much and I'll just lay into her for being such an arse for the last 24 months! I've made it this far without rising to the bait, I'm sure I can hold out a few more months....!

Urgh feel for you...
Mine lasted about 4 years and MANY court cases.
Only thing I would say... The relief the day after its over and you wake up and realise your free is one of the best awakenings ever!

Good luck.
