This is a question No Self-Awareness

I had a boss who had no idea of his body odour problem, and everybody was too tactful to break it to him. Not so a visiting Rev Ian Paisley: "What the blazes is that smell? Is it you?" That sorted it. Stories of people blissfully unaware of their bad smells, bad manners and foghorn voices.

People on planes
who refuse to help my kids pick their toys up when they've rolled under their seats.

Nonces
Many people without children - and probably some with - will ignore a child absolutely out of fear that any interaction with them, even scooping down to retrieve a lost toy, will have them branded as a nonce.

On a plane, where any form of unrest is likely to be met with tasers, arrests and banning from flights, I expect that appearing to be a rude and inconsiderate prick is 100% preferable to the slightest hint of potential nonciness.
