I was in one last night, feeling rather sore todayEmbarrassingly, it wasn't even for a heavy band, I came out of Cannibal Corpse with no visible injuries at all.

last year at sonii was in the pit to mastodon, and some twunt with a big wooden skull on a stick took my knee out, causing the circle pit to fall on my duff knee. it was december before i could walk normally again. still going back in :D glutton for punishment. i'l start out withthe best intentions, but i don't think i'm physically capable of not pitting when peopel like lamb of god and mastodon play. it's the only nod to red blooded alpha male douchebaggery in my otherwise homogenised metrosexual character. can't help myself.

I left Mastodon halfway through to go and see Jason RouseMy only regret is that I missed 'Blood and Thunder'. The pits for Parkway Drive were a bit mental, great fun though!

It was my wedding anniversaryI had to negotiate hard to be allowed to attend on the friday and saturday. I had been given a free pass to this years, which makes the cancellation even more annoying.
