Oh man, bad dreams about hospitals and aliens and hypnotheropy and stanly knifes to cut out the alien implants.
Woke myself up shouting in my sleep. BUT THEN, I had an awesome dream about following a (human) space rocket in a car.

It's werid how dreams can feel so powerful and strong, like they're real, until you've woken up properly and all that magic and imagination feels so unimportant and pathetic.

We're coming up to the half way point of the week, anyone interested in this?... www.startreklondon.com/ .

What do you reckon, slimming world or weight watchers?
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 7:35, Reply)
I had a horrible dream last night.
I was running for my life and the army were looking for me and they caught me and started doing all these invasive tests and there were giant needles and it left me feeling absolutely hideous when I woke up.

If I were in London Gonz, I'd totally go to that. Also, weight watchers.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 7:43, Reply)
I reckon if you could record dreams, they'd potentially make the best movies EVAH.
Sweet, I think I'm gonna check it out, I ain't ever been to a scifi convention but if I could meet Pickard, Sysco and Janeway all at the same time then WOW.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:03, Reply)
I'm going to Melbourne's Comic-con in june.
I am Very Much looking forward to this.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:05, Reply)
Oh man, who's gonna be there?

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:09, Reply)
Mitch Pileggi, Sean Maher, Patrick and Daniel Stewart and Tia Carrere for starters.
I'm very excited. I think maybe Jewel Staite will also be there, and she's just lovely.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:12, Reply)
Oh, and STAN LEE.
*dances*
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:13, Reply)
Oh ace !

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:38, Reply)
Oof, Tia Carrere is rather lovely.
As is Jewel Staite!
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:54, Reply)
First and only movie I've ever seen Tia Carrere in was True Lies.
it was fucking awesome.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 9:19, Reply)
i saw her first in waynes world
that film has lots of really great quotable lines if i remember correctly
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 9:21, Reply)
People keep telling me to see that.
I've never watched it.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 9:24, Reply)
That film is excellent
It features my favourite woman, Eliza Dushku. (Nowadays I mean, not at the time)

I wish I had horrible dreams last night.
I wish I got to sleep at all. I still haven't gone to bed.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 7:45, Reply)
Who was keeping you up?

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 7:46, Reply)
No one. Nothing.
I'm a terrible sleeper, this happens sometimes. The fact I had a large espresso yesterday afternoon on my way out of Charing Cross didn't help.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:03, Reply)
That probably would have done it!
I'm such a heavy sleeper these days thanks to my medication that it takes a fire alarm to wake me.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:04, Reply)
I rarely get more than six hours sleep, it's a nightmare.
I'll regularly wake up at eight am and not be able to get to sleep til three or four in the morning. It's a good job that I'm in a ridiculously good mood at the moment or I'd be going crackers.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:07, Reply)
I regularly sleep for 10 hours at a time, wake up, get half way through the day and need a nap.
Its problematic during lectures..
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:09, Reply)
I'm not sure what to do now.
Getting a bit tired, might set my alarm for midday or something and hope that by the time tonight comes around my lack of sleep last night catches up with me and my body clock returns to something half normal.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:11, Reply)
Any reason behind it Big B? Surely you out of anyone could get a little chemical relef to help snooze the night away.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:04, Reply)
I've tried Night Nurse etc but it makes me sluggish as hell for hours after I wake up.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:05, Reply)
Amyltriptaline does it for me, but the effects last about 12 hours, so I gotta take them at 9 or the latest or I'll have a shit morning.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:07, Reply)
What about Temazepam?
Works for me on the rare occasions I need it.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:09, Reply)
Never tried it.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:09, Reply)
Worth asking your GP about - I find it doesn't leave me feeling groggy the following morning.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:12, Reply)
Thanks, but I'm cool with what I'm on, don't really wanna rock the boat or deal with coming on/off anything.

If I miss more than one day of my medsI get horrible withdrawals.
Dizzy spells, nausea, my balance goes off, I get migraines, can't eat. It's disgusting. Hence why I make sure that I take my tablets EVERY day. I know exactly what you mean when you say coming off/on things is difficult.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:18, Reply)
Yup, totally.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:27, Reply)
that looks well bent.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 7:51, Reply)
Your willy is bent because of all the time you thrust it at a man's bum but miss the hole and it bends it a bit more, and you do it all the time so the effect is like braces so your willy is more hooked than abu hanzer's hand.

go on then. What is it?

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 8:21, Reply)
The video has nothing to do with the artist or song, someone's just grabbed it from somewhere and put the track on top.
Quite fitting tho; youtu.be/iBN2BkMIOD0

In a *wholly unrelated* aside, has anyone got a copy of the Anarchist's Cookbook, at all?

I understand that joining a weight loss group is supposed to be good for motivation but, eff that yo, seriously. I wouldn't even join a gym because that whole 'scene' is bent. The thought of sitting in a circle in some shitty community centre with some fat sweaty biffas crying on about how they ate a whole Sara Lee cheesecake at 3am...Christ no.

I could tell them about the uncelebratory banoffee pie.

The bloke that wrote the book wants it withdrawn from sale.
You can still buy it on the US Amazon site - there is a long post from the author about how he regrets writing it, wants it to stop being published it. Yawn.

Just to make it seem more DANGEREUX etc.
Yawn indeed. Marketing bollocks ahoy.

I liked the suggestion that the entire plant turned off the web for a month to see what people would do. It'll never happen of course.

Whilst I have been known to enjoy some Star Trek in my time, the idea of that is simply too geeky.
Then again, it would be good to meet Patrick Stewart. Brent Spiner does an excellent impression of him which also quite amuses me.

Neither, both are for women, and the idea of limiting what I can eat on a series of 'points' is just ridiculous. Then again, aren't current guidelines to only eat red meat twice a week, or something like that? Fuck that, it's the best kind!

Star Trek is crap.
Cowboys and Indians in space.
And if you're an internet fatty, don't waste money joining some silly club full of other porkers. Eat sensibly, and do a bit of exercise, it's not rocket science.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 10:14, Reply)
yeah but what if they are fat because of their genes or glands?

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 10:15, Reply)
Well a club still won't help matters. If they're fat cos of genetics, deal with it, joining a club full of whingers won't help.

(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 10:17, Reply)
Then they should kill themselves
After deleting their account, of course.
(, Wed 18 Apr 2012, 10:18, Reply)
Genes are bad. They leap out of a fatties body when they're not looking, run to the fridge, grab a load of pies and cram them down the fatties throat.
Not the fault of the fatty at all.

I'd be quite up for going to something like that, I think.
Idiots dressing up, nerdy lolz, I think it'd be quite fun. I've not actually been to one before. Unlike my mum who has both been to a Star Wars convention AND went to see the London Phil playing the John Williams review thing they did a while back.

My mum's mental.
