So far, so good here in b3th land.
I appear to have finally stopped throwing up, which is nice. I'm still in pain, but less pain than yesterday, so I think the antibiotics might be kicking in, which is also nice.
On the other hand, having spent yesterday only sipping water, I now have a caffeine withdrawal headache. This is less nice, but easily fixed.
Babies are actually rather cute when they're clean and fresh and happy. They only spoil it when they start drooling everywhere and grizzling.

if it makes you feel any better
when I had an impacted wisdom tooth they gave me penicillin to reduce the infection/swelling before they could take it out. I am allergic to penicillin. I was Not Well. And then I insisted they take the fucking tooth out anyway even though the swelling hadn't really gone down enough. It was possibly the least fun I've ever had, and that includes breaking my leg three times in one go. But if your antibiotics are working then you'll be just fine!

Oh sweet, that might give me enough time to pull my finger out and come over and buy you a beer.

When the weather's a bit nicer
I can cycle over to your neck of the woods or something. Be a nice ride out, that.

I'm allergic to amoxicillin, which is what they usually use
so they had to give me something else. I'm back in on Monday morning to have it properly looked at. It's only half a tooth and half filling, so there's a chance it might have to come out.
